Fragrance of Yahoshua

For years, many of us have said, 
“I want to talk like Yahoshua, walk like Yahoshua, and be like Yahoshua”.  
Wouldn’t you love to smell like Yahoshua?

  During a time of intimacy with Yah, He led me to Tehillim (Psalms)45:7-8, which says, 
 “You have loved righteousness and hated wrongness; therefore Yah, Your Master, has anointed You with the oil of joy more than Your companions.  
All Your garments are myrrh and aloes and cassia.”

  My next question was “Yah, is it your desire for us to wear the fragrance of Yahoshua?  
Do we have a right to smell like Him?”  
As He directed me to Yeshayah (Isaiah)61:3, 
 I was nearly speechless as I read, Yahoshua will “appoint unto those who mourn in Zion :
 to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning.” 
 His Word had undoubtedly answered my question.

It is Yah’s desire for us to bear the fragrance of Yahoshua; nonetheless, there is a price to pay in apprehending this precious anointing, 
for the oil of joy cost Yahoshua everything.  
Each of these three spices, cassia, aloes, and myrrh have profound meaning.

  Cassia - - -Stripping

Aloes - - -Wounding

Myrrh - - -Death

  It is through Yahoshua’s stripping, His wounding for our transgression and His death 
on the stake that He has restored our relationship with our Father Yah.  
Ibrim (Hebrews) 12:2 says it was
 “for the joy that was set before Him that He endured the stake.”  
Indeed, we are His greatest joy!

  In like manner, if we desire this anointing, 
we must allow Him to strip and chasten us while we willingly take up our stakes daily.  
Until that day arrives when we no longer need earthly oils to smell like Him, let us bear the Fragrance of Yahoshua.
